An Hour with Kim Golding

Talk to adoptive parents with Psychological Pathways

In March this year, we had the pleasure of staying in Northern Ireland as guests of Psychological Pathways and the Northern Ireland Health Trust.

As part of the visit Kim gave a talk to an audience of adoptive parents on why some children may feel threatened by the care and love offered them in their new family and demonstrates how an attitude that is Playful, Accepting, Curious and Empathic can be helpful.

She read two stories from her book: Using Stories to Build Bridges with Traumatised Children.

The talk was recorded, and the video is now available to view via the Psychological Pathways website.

The trailer for the video is below.

It costs £10.00 to rent the entire talk.
