‘Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)’ published in Adoption Today and DDP Network

Adoption Today have published an abridged version of Kim’s article ‘Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP): Using Relationships to heal children traumatised within their early relationships‘ in their February 2020 issue.

Written with input from Dan Hughes, in a question and answer format, Kim discusses how DDP and P.A.C.E. can help looked after children who have experienced developmental trauma and their caregivers. It also summarises the latest research updates including the upcoming randomised control trial being run by Helen Minnis, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow.

Adoption Today is published by Adoption UK, a national adoption charity, and distributed to their members.
